Reminiscence

Introduction:
This Art Exhibition called Reminiscence was held at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art. It is being held in NAFA campus 1 from 25th October till 13 November.

Description:
The Singaporean Artist Ang Ah Tee is a NAFA alumni. He painted this piece called Tranquility, a scene in Venice in the year 2011. The painting cool colours with a abstract style of painting that still allows the viewer to be able to depict the scene in the painting. His paintings in this exhibition, Reminiscence show the different styles he had incorporated and the skills he has displayed. Ang Ah Tee's works shall inspire not just me but many others.

Fashion in 19th Century - Singapore


Introduction:

this gallery is held in National Museum Singapore. (level 2)

The purpose is to celebrate the creativity of Singapore society through time in the four Singapore living galleries, each with a lifestyle theme close to the hearts of Singaporeans.
The gallery is going to be held until 16 March 2014.

Description: 

Costumes worn by women in 19th century will be displayed as the gallery traces the changing roles of women from youths to homemakers and career women.
To have the idea of the shifting identities of Singapore women from the 1950s to the 1970s  and the changing social, economic and political roles of women.
Allowing in-depth understanding of the process on how various garments (Kebaya, Sari and Chiongsam) are made.

NIGHT FESTIVAL at Peranakan Museum

Introduction

This is an Event held by Peranakan Museum on the month of August 2013.


Description

Peformances that were being conducted by three Singaporean musicians that present orginal tunes inspired by 'Luminous Depths', the art installation by Lee MingWei. Besides peformances, there are also Glow-In-The-Dark graffti room or contribute to our community project thats ongoing during this Lightscape event too.
